Sometimes it takes courage just to leave the house. FOR ANYTHING. We’ve been learning a lot about ourselves during this quarantine. Running is my therapy (in so many ways) and the Un-Canceled Project has been my lifeline! ❤️

Courage was the theme for week 5 and I started it out with a 5K. 🏃🏻♀️

My next scheduled Courage race was the 10K and i did a Social Distancing run with my Sole Sister!

I’m still decorating my driveway finish line for each run. Even when the rain washes it all away, I still get back out there and redo it.

But finding the courage to just lace up my running shoes and get off the couch isn’t always easy. 😕

And knocking out a 15K wasn’t easy either but that was my 3rd scheduled race for the week and my last race for the month of April. 🤨

The Un-Canceled Project helped to keep me motivated with Gratitude, Hope, Humor, Inspiration and Courage 💖 and I ended the month with 18 virtual bibs and 147 running miles!!! 😃

I even completed 4 half marathons for the month of April! 🏆

But even tho the month (April) had ended… Courage week wasn’t over yet! And I did the most courageous thing yet! I decided to take on a 24-hour Marathon Challenge. 😳 Not for a bib or a medal, no groups of runners, no crowd support. Just ME, trying to prove to myself that I had the courage to see it through! 🤨 So I started on May the 2nd at 8:AM by running a 5K. Then I ran one mile at the top of each hour for the remainder of the day. By midnight I had 18.24 miles in and had earned my 13.1 virtual courage bib for the week. ⭐️

I continued my challenge into the following day, May 3rd, with the remaining 8 miles (and 8 hours) earning my 8K virtual bib for that day even tho I nearly doubled that distance.

I completed a full marathon in 24 hours! 🤩 What a way to end the week! 🗓 Now to take a couple of rest days before tackling the Un-Canceled Commitment week, the final week of this Project. And after this past week… I KNOW I’VE GOT THIS! 💪🏻
