Together, For the Love of Go & Ancora Ministries held the first ever Spark Love 5K in Kyle, Texas. All proceeds from this event go towards improving the health and nutrition of kids and families in Central Texas and Guatemala. ❤️

Ancora Ministries is all about helping kids, families, and communities reach their God-given potential through relationship, nutrition, clean water, education, and health and safety initiatives.

You know it’s gonna be a fun race when you see great costumes!! 😃

It was a chilly 30 degrees, but the sunrise was promising a warmer day as runners gathered at the start line for pre-race announcements and prayers. ☀️

New race, new course! 😃 The course was an out-and-back along a winding, hilly road in Kyle. A bit challenging but still a great course.

The sun started to shine as we conquered some gently rolling hills.

We set out as #teamshuler for some quality family time and ran some nice and easy intervals together. I just had to get a selfie 🤳🏻 while my boys were walking behind me. 🥰 They make me so proud. 💘

In keeping with Ancora Ministries mission, there were Champurradas (Guatemalan Sesame Cookies) and coffee along with many other yummy post race snacks! 😋

The award medals were beautiful and unique! 🏅 What a great (new) event, for an even greater cause. 😍 Will definitely run this one again!
