This was my second time running this great For the Love of Go event! I love the fun slide challenge and the new pickle challenge as well as the beautiful course for the Kyle Front Porch Days Plum Crazy Half Marathon! 💖

As always, running with friends is THE BEST, and having these smiling faces in my start line selfie 🤳🏻 was pretty sweet too! 🥰

…and if we weren’t already smiling, this happy tooth would have put a smile on our faces for sure! 😁

Knocking out the Kirby Slide Challenge on loop 1. This was so much fun! 🥰

We had to stop for a quick minute to watch this bunny have a snack. ☺️ He didn’t mind us at all. 🐰

We saved the Pickle Challenge for the second loop. This was back at Kirby Park and these guys were awesome! 🙌🏻 We were so very thankful to ALL of the wonderful volunteers on the course! 🙏🏻

With a 6:30AM start the weather wasn’t too bad at all! But by our 2nd loop these pickle shots were PERFECT as it was starting to warm up quite a bit. 🤩 This was just what we needed!

We enjoyed running through the Plum Creek neighborhood and seeing all of the beautiful houses! Such a great place for a long run! 🏘

And look who we found? …okay so SHE FOUND US, but it’s the one and only, Ali! 🚴🏻‍♀️

She rode in along side us for the final stretch, after being the bike lead for the race. Thanks for the support and great conversation Ali! 💖
